AUGUST ADVENTURES ON FIRST THURSDAY

12 to 7pm

FREE ADMISSION FOR EVERYONE

Activities include:

All day – Art activities and treasure hunt.  Learning lounges are open, where you can write your name in hieroglyphics, design an African mask, or try out the techniques used to create the art hanging in our galleries. 

5pm –  Live musical performance by Ben Cosgrove in the FAM Courtyard.

6pm – Artist talk with Valerie Imparato: The artist will take the audience through her exhibition, Valerie Imparato: Interwoven, to discuss her inspiration, themes, and techniques. Q&A to follow.

The First Thursday fun continues intown until 9pm.  Music, food, art and local vendors will take over a block of Main Street! Fun activities for the whole family. Take a walk around the block to see new businesses and murals created in 2020. Learn more.

Please note:

Reservations are NOT required.

Masks are not required for vaccinated guests.  

Unvaccinated individuals are advised to wear a mask when inside the museum.
