89TH REGIONAL EXHIBITION OF ART & CRAFT

June 21–September 7, 2025

We are excited to announce the 89th annual Regional Exhibition, which is one of the longest-running juried exhibitions in New England. This tradition at the Fitchburg Art Museum spotlights the artists and crafters of our region by providing a museum environment for their work and connecting them with fellow creators, patrons, and art enthusiasts. Please join us in celebrating our creative community!

JURYING

We’re thrilled to have Bob Dilworth as this year’s juror!

Bob Dilworth is an artist and educator. FAM recently presented a solo exhibition of Dilworth’s work, Bob Dilworth: When I Remembered Home, and Dilworth’s work can be found in our collection. Central to Dilworth’s practice is the celebration of the places and people he loves. From painting to quilting, Dilworth consistently tries new techniques and incorporates new materials into his work.

Born and raised in Lawrenceville, Virginia, Dilworth first came to New England as a student at the Rhode Island School of Design. After earning his MFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Dilworth returned to Providence where he continues to live and work today. A lifelong educator, Dilworth taught at the University of Rhode Island for over thirty years and continues to be a cherished member of the Providence art community.
