Call Now Open for The 90th Regional Exhibition of Art & Craft 

FAM’s annual Regional Exhibition is one of the longest-running juried exhibitions in New England. This tradition at the Fitchburg Art Museum spotlights the artists and crafters of our region by providing a museum environment for their work and connecting them with fellow creators, patrons, and art enthusiasts. The First Prize winner will have a solo exhibition alongside The 91st Regional Exhibition of Art & Craft in 2027.

JURYING

‎ ‎ 

Lissa Cramer is the Director of the Boston University Art Galleries. She received her MS in Arts Administration from Boston University and a BA in Art History from the University of Kansas. She has previously worked for The Art Institute of Chicago, The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, MO, and Tufts University Art Galleries in Medford, MA.
 

Lissa Cramer is an experienced gallery director with a demonstrated history of executing distinguished and forward-thinking exhibitions. Cramer is a creative thinker that enjoys collaborating and building welcoming and inclusive environments. Highly skilled in exhibition management and budgeting, collections care, registration, and installation with practice working in non-profit arts institutions of different ranges and financial capacities—Lissa has honed these abilities through working with artists, curators, commercial galleries, university faculty, and students.
 

Cramer has achieved success with multiple exhibitions and publications throughout her career, including Cey Adams, Departure, Life Altering: Selections from a Kansas City Collection, and Ni De Aqui, Ni De Alla (Not From Here, Not From There.) Cramer also teaches Modern Art 1860-1970 and Managing Visual Arts at the Boston University MET College.


ELIGIBILITY

The 90th Regional Exhibition of Art & Craft is open to all artists and crafters who live or work within 30 miles of Fitchburg, or if you’re a member of ArtsWorcester. This restriction is intended to support and encourage the artists of our geographic region, not exclude those interested in participating who might be at the margins of this radius. This includes:

REGISTRATION PRICE
$10 Student (someone currently enrolled in high school, college, or an arts program)
$20 Current FAM member
$40 Renewing and non-FAM member 
Please note that the registration fee covers up to two submitted artworks per artist. Whether you submit one or two artworks, you only need to pay the appropriate registration fee once!

To acknowledge the many extraordinary artists and crafters of our region, our juror will offer a number of cash awards generously sponsored by Mike Shea and Toni Wilcox.

SUMMER PARTY & OPENING CELEBRATION
Mark your calendars! We will celebrate the opening of the 90th Regional Exhibition of Art & Craft on Friday, June 26, 2026 from 6–8 pm. This reception is free and open to the public, but it is a ticketed event and registration is required. Be sure to invite your family and friends!

EXHIBITION LOCATION CHANGE
Due to Kaleidoscope, this year’s Regional Exhibition will be held across the Museum in various galleries, including upstairs of the Merriam Parkway Building, Ansin, and our Elevator Gallery.
