The Fitchburg Art Museum (FAM) seeks a responsible individual to join our Security/Visitor Services (SVS) team. SVS provide security for the museum buildings as well as works of art. SVS is the primary public face of the museum and helps to make Museum visitors feel welcome.

SVS must be able to walk and stand for up to 6 hours as well as be able to lift 25 pounds. SVS must have a flexible schedule and be available for weekends and evening hours. The right candidates will enjoy working in a museum environment, have computer literacy, as well as the ability to communicate clearly and pleasantly with our guests. Bi-lingual English-Spanish a plus.

Previous experience in a museum or with security or events is a plus.

Hours vary per week. $14.50/hour.

FAM Hours
12pm–4pm, Wednesdays –Fridays; 11am-5pm Saturdays and Sundays, closed Mondays & Tuesdays
Plus various mornings and evenings for tours, meetings, and events.
