Material Matters is the 10^th anniversary exhibition of our “Call and Response” collaboration with ArtsWorcester. This year, the theme calls back to the very first “Call and Response,” which highlighted work from FAM’s African art collection. Material Matters revisits the African collection, with a particular focus on the diverse materiality of African artistic practice. This year’s selected ArtsWorcester artists are Stephen Bergeron, Esther Clark, Jennifer Davis Carey, Kristi DiSalle, Gloria Goguen, Casey Hickey, Abu Mwenye, Lisa Shea, Suzanne Stumpf, and Robin Tost.
